What is Quick Charge Technology?

If you’ve been keeping up with the Marley blog, you know that the new Exodus headphone has an industry-leading 30 hour battery life- long enough to get you from New York to Tokyo and back without needing a charge. But when that battery finally does run out, you may have noticed something called “Quick Charge” technology on the list of features for Exodus and other Marley products.

What does this mean exactly? Quick Charge is cutting edge technology that allows a big burst of power to enter a battery very quickly, and all at once. So if your battery is dead or almost dead, you can charge it back to a useable level very quickly. With Exodus, Quick Charge can take a dead battery to 3hrs of playtime in just 15 minutes. After that, charging returns to a normal rate, but in the mean time the music doesn’t have to stop.
